Tele-Health support in Honduras

PULSE reaches out to a PICU in a small city in Southern tip of Honduras bordering Nicaragua, an area which has a particularly high infant mortality. Pediatric Intensivists and PULSE volunteers will provide real-time consultation services for the recently established but severely understaffed Pediatric ICU via telemedicine. Plans are in place to put a team on the ground in Honduras in December 2010.
